Can we make a program that works on full mode, or does it have to be compatible with the 83 plus?

Maybe I should try to throw something together. Time to make an epic platformer!
Can we make a program that only runs on silver editions? Guess who is going to buy all of Pink Floyd's albums. ^^ 471

Maybe it's Little-Endian.
At least the server doesn't ban you for no apparent reason. 472
News / Re: OS 3.0.1 back online... what about 3.0.2?« on: May 15, 2011, 06:50:51 pm »
So many people at my school are still stuck on OS 1.xx for their TI-83 plus. I don't think this will affect those who don't know about the dangers of 3.0.1.
Can someone compare the two with an ips file (don't distribute it, of course)? I really hope they did not re-release the file; that would be beyond stupid.I thought IPS was only for rom's? An IPS file is basically a list of differences between one file and another. It is usually used to distribute modifications in roms. It can be used to compare anything. 473

@Smibs, I quit by pressing [mode] to get the the title screen. From there, I pressed [2nd] [quit]. I think [2nd] [Off] does something weird to the stack.

Looks like fun!
TiLP uses unsigned drivers, which 64-bit Windows will not allow. All you have to do is install the new 32 bit signed libusb drivers. Works like a charm. http://sourceforge.net/projects/libusb/files/ I also got it to work with TI-Connect, but I hear it only works when all the molecules in all the planets are aligned. 475

ASM / Running a No-Stub from an App« on: May 14, 2011, 12:22:31 am »
Hello,
How exactly do I run an archived No-Stub program from an App. I know that it involves reading from the VAT, switching one of the flash pages, and copying the contents to $9D95. How exactly do I go about doing this? Thanks in advanced. 478

I meant to ask what the "Shell" function of zStart is.

I do not quite understand the shell function of zStart. Can you explain a little more. (I have DCS selected, btw.)
