It's been requested, we don't know right now.
thank you UTF-8 support is quite good with their added utf-8 functions.
It only misses the ulen function, and I requested that 
but it is not possible for us to have characters like á,à,ó,... in lua scripts because it causes the computer software to instantly close without any warning in the moment we are pasting the script in a document.

I actually have the real version of nspire student software. I got the product key on the installation disk case when i brought my nspire. now as, for nspire computer link software, it's free, isn't it?

supposing you have your tns file in the mylib folder and that function is in the first problem and included in some library (Public or Private).
let's also suppose your tns file which contains the function is called example and your function is Factquad(str).
in the scratchpad you can write fq(str):=example\Factquad(str)
it does what you want, I think...
mind the backslash, if needed you can find it in the catalogue.

Asked them my question and they quickly answered: Thank you for your inquiry, but, as per our Texas Instruments dealer contract, we are not allowed to sell outside the United States market. We’re sorry we could not assist you more. This is really bad for me... Amazon is much more expensive.
