yeah, I prefer to know what the weapon will do to my stats before I buy it. It does slow down the program some, but I think it was worth it.

ok, been doing some work on my RPG here (I know a shocker) and might have some stuff to show in the comming week(s). Right now, the weapon/shield/armor shop backend is almost done, and then some minor things will be added.

Currently how things are set up is that when you go to the shop and buy and a new item, you sell your old item also. The prices displayed are adjusted to show this. Also, in the shops, it shows your current stats and what your new stats will be with the new item. After I finish this one up, I will have to start on a general store (which shouldn't be too much problem, I can use a lot of the same backend). The one problem I have is where can I put the file for people to test it out.

Other Calculators / Cemetech Contest: 3D

Well, by popular demand, the 3rd Cemetech contest shall be 3D. Now what in 3D, I am not going to be picky on, but it must be 3D. This contest will follow the standard rules, as in pure BASIC, and all that stuff. Contest will start immediatly and will conclude along with the year 2006. This should be enough time to finish the contest, just remember to not party too hard until you have the contest in the inbox. Contest's shall be submitted to contest [at] cemetech [dot] net as always. Times are CST, as always, can't wait. Good luck, and good coding.

This could be a lot of fun for anyone interested in it. Open to all people who are members of Cemetech (if you are not, you can join and then be eligible). Open to all calc models. Please do note that I am the judge. More info on Cemetech Contests can be found at http://www.cemetech.net/forum/viewforum.php?f=50

General Calculator Help / Gahh where do I start
« on: October 18, 2006, 04:20:00 am »
BASIC is easier, but C will be faster.

TIGCC might have a tutorial (not sure), and there is a BASIC tutorial at http://tifreakware.calcgames.org
