When I start ti boy with some games it shows the loading screen. then it goes blank. On exits fine, but the game doesn't work. I know just yesterday it did work. Also, a lot of games that make saves create appvars but don't save.

Still, I bet I could return a calculator after 30 days, where my cousins live the stores are all really lenient and relaxed. Sorry for saying those things if they weren't true, I guess I should be reading more carefully. And I won't report problems about make103, it seems it doesn't work only for me, and I bet I'm just being stupid and not doing something right (although I can't think of what that could be).

No, I won't bother, unsigned works fine. Where my cousins live, which is not so far away, the exchange policies are very lenient. Once, I refunded a product I had owned for a month, and they accepted it without looking inside the box. I bet I could exchange my 84+ for an nspire. However, I don't plan on breaking my calculator anytime soon...

Unsigned: patches 1.03 bootcode so you can downgrade your os. Without it you would not be able to downgrade os with the newer calculators. It also puts your name and a revisions number of your choice in about (2nd+mem->about). One downside is that some ti boy apps will not work err: version, you will need to uninstall the mod to fix this.
the author of Epicfail, an alternative to unsigned, says that if it breaks your calc, you will not be able to return it because you have modified it. The maker of unsigned says you will be able to return it if unsigned breaks your calc. Something to keep in mind if you're deciding between the two.
But, does anyone know a game that creates saves and fits on a regular ti 84+?
Also, does anyone know about returning your calculator? Can you just return it for a new one?

I have upgraded to 2.55, deleted fake, reseted mem, removed the unsigned mod. Ti boy does not make any appvars. It does not create any variables, I have looked through my mem? Does it create variables/lists to save?

Hi,
I'm having trouble with saving games on 2.43 os, patched with unsigned, and using brandonw's fake app occassionally
(I always have it in fake mode, that way if someone questions what I am doing on my calculator [ti boy obviously] and resets my mem, I am safe). On my last topic I was topic I was talking about fake ram reseting, and an admin called me a cheater and locked the topic, threatening to temp-ban me. I just want to get it straight.
So, back on topic, is there a problem with 2.43 os, unsigned, or brandon's fake app (which isn't even running)?

SO I patched with unsigned, awesome program. Now I need a program that can archive all my programs (a program, not an app), this is a workaround for Brandonw's program with his fake reset prog. Does anyone know of such a program?

Fake Version 1.0 can't turn off without exiting the prog...
Are there any workarounds for the error that BrandownW's program clears RAM, TI boy stores saves in ram.
Also, is there any chance unsigned will break my calc?

So I found a program: it's on cemetech, its called fake v 1.0. It works only with doors, and it is very good. So whenever I am done with ti boy I will put the calc in fake mode. In fake mode, you can't do anything besides reset the ram, lol, my teacher will be pissed if she tries searching my calculator and the apps or program button doesn't work.

Can unsigned break my calc?
I don't like make 103, I don't speak french.
Acutally, never mind. I have renamed my ti boy apps to things like StudyCrd (the real app has been deleted) so teachers will have no idea what I am doing. They don't mem reset I don't think. Also, last time I tried downgrading os, my calculator almost broke, not gonna try that again.
