Look up Linux from scratch that is a great site. That is how I'm figuring out how to do it.

I will try adding options into the install for what you want.(Fluxbox,open box; Firefox, Chrome; etc)

Again the only onme I really know about is Gnome all these others ones except  KDE are completely new to me. and I only barely know KDE. I want a good lightweight one, but I want to be bale to choose the best one also, so if someone could explain the advantages disadvantages of each it would be great. I haven't been able to find a good conmparison with google yet.
