Gnome and KDE were the only ones I could think of off the top of my head. Could someone please explain to me what the differences between all of these is?

What about on a calculator? I like the TI-83 Plus OS better than Casio ones. I also like the new Nspire OS.
I made this mainly for comp OS's. somone could mke one for calc OS's also in Calc discussion. You like the new Nspire OS? *ruler faints at the very idea

I was going to go off of the Linux from Scratch guide and add in customizations where I see that it is needed. I've been reading about this for a while and plan to start actual work on it this summer when I have my plan solidified

I'm going to be making my own OS based off of the linux kernel. I want an OS customized to work best for me and I think it would also work well for others of the community when Its done. What software do you think should be included. I will gladly take community suggestions on how to make it but overall I do want it to be my OS.
I not sure of the name so for now its rulerOS.
My main priorities are:
That it is small and lightweight but still has very powerful tools
Have development tools as a focus but also have things for my other interests like music

You know whats really freaky running TeamViewer off of a browser connecting to the computer your using. YOu just get infinite views of our comp screen in your comp screen
