I'm now  trying to use Apache to see if I could just get it running of of my computer, but the program I used to find my IP address returned to separate ones. One seems to be what I need but according to the internet is nonexistant and the other one redirects me to a verizon website(our ISP i believe).

When I try to start Apache 2.2 I get this error
Code: [Select]
Only one use of each socket address (protocol/network/address/port)
is normally permitted. : make_sock: could not bind to address 0.0.0.0:80
no listening sockets available, shutting down
unable to open logs

What do I need to fix now?

I don't like the book or the schedule for it but the language isn't too bad.
The tests are killer for me because they are largely on the vocab

cattus puel = catgirl

I'm pretty sure there is something wrong with that translation. I don't know what cat is but I know girl is puella.

If you use Paint.net there are some good plugins for touching up images

You might want to change the title of this thread to Latinus fili. I hope that's a correct translation

I see that on this site there are more than just programming projects that need help. We might focus on programs but the other projects still need support.

That is scary to think it might happen. I go to middle school and this kind of freaks me out.

My latin teacher says I'm doing pretty well with understanding the concepts of the language if not the vocab. What is the easiest or best way to learn the vocab?

I wish I knew enough to speak Latin here. I'm learning but the vocab is hard to get down.

What is the hardest thing to learn in Latin that's not vocab?

I changed my vote to it wasn't enjoyable because I really only saw it as bad for a while. most of the other time it just was a task I had to get done

What kind of Latin class are you doing?

Thank you for this. I have posted a few projects here and gotten a little feedback in the first day or two but after that unless I get people from IRC to go to it no one says anything about it even if I post that I need some advice. This should not jsut be for programs I have seen other projets die from people not encouraging them. I know I will try my best to do this for all projects I see.

I just have one thing that is kind of off. I think everyone should try to encourage all topics but if you have no idea what the topic is talking about you should only post there with questions and requests. Just having a lot of encouragement with little to no application to the project does not help the people making the project very much and can make it hard to find the helpful comments. I will try to help encourage all projects but I will try to stay with topics in math/Python/C/Nspires because that is what I know and can help with or use.

I don't know the vocab that well yet but I do know most of the grammar rules. I did it instead of Spanish this year because I wanted foreign language and Spanish was during my band period. There is only one Spanish 1 period at my school everyone is already in Spanish 3/4.

I have no idea how to pronounce the Latin currently because books aren't good for teaching you how to pronounce things.

The one good thing for me with latin is that because I'm so far behind(10-12 chapters) my parents told me they'd get me a laptop(uberGraphX maybe) if I get done before it is all due. So I have 14.5 chapters to go 2 tests a final and a midterm and 4 reviews due by June 4

I usually love to swim, but I do not enjoy it nearly as much without goggles. I use to swim in meets and all of that but not as much anymore because I left my swim team. I can not imagine what 21 feet deep would be like. I don't really like 12 feet because I am extra sensitive towards pressure changes.
