Site Feedback and Questions / Re: Nearly 900 members...
« on: March 18, 2011, 09:44:58 am »
I had 1-0 posts for a few months when I first registered here. I had not had much to contribute and didn't look around much. I just joined to be able to help/look at Ndless. When i looked around the site I found there were many other things and started becoming a more active member. I think the Math section was what really started me on being an active member

Open Office portable is too large for my flash drive. I'm almost out of space.
they want me to write a small program. Does anyone know how to do this. How do they change from pptx and ppt? If i know that I should be able to figure out how to make it work

I'll upload it for trumpet in a sec

EDIT: It is really low. My music software is currently messed up so it might take me a while to get a good PDF version

EDIT2: Never mind good screen capture always works. Attached it now. It is for a B Flat trumpet.

No It just lets me save the sheet music as a wav. I'll see if there are any better free software I can use.
Its XMuseScore if you want to find out more about it

That is one reason I was asking for what is good sites. Should I move it to Megaupload?

What reverb? This is the sheet music for it. It might just be a audio issue with the program I have synthesizing it

EDIT: I will reattach the PDF for the Tenor Sax version later once i take out any personal information i added

Music Showcase / My First Solo
« on: March 11, 2011, 10:18:27 pm »
this is a solo I wrote for Tenor Saxophone(the instrument i play). I will have a version of it with me actually playing it later. this is the first solo I have written completely on my own. I use portable MuseScore for writing Music. PM me if you want the sheet music. I believe i can transpose it to any instrument i have the XML file for(most instruments).
Well comments suggestions please I hope I did all right with this. I was not sure how to end it though

EDIT: Link to audio of it soon. What are good audio upload sites
EDIT2: Here is a link to it on zShare. solo in B Flat.wav - 6.90MB

« on: March 11, 2011, 07:53:56 pm »
I have had problems with TI-Connect not being able to communicate with the TI-84+SE emulator on my calculator. I have downloaded/reinstalled TI-Connect twice and It still doesn't work. anyone have any ideas why not.

whenever i try connecting to it I go to TI-Device Explorer and try to find it. I have my Nspire on with 84+SE keypad in. I have it connected to the computer through a USB extension cable/hub. I do not know what is going wrong please help

I think there are some things you can do without OOP, but there are many things you need OOP for. At least in my opinion it would be much easier to use OOP then another kind of language.

I thought C/C++/C# were all OOP languages
<offtopic>has anyone heard of the languages D or GO?</offtopic>

I personally like python because it uses indentation instead of semicolons and braces. I find it easier to read.

This is a great thread. I always thought it would be nice too have someplavce to ask questions about features of OOP languages

Ubercalc
I tried to register on your site 2 days ago and I still have not gotten an email with my password. I registered as ruler501. I would love to help if I could join your site.

This is amazing with the new processor. I think this will be at least 3 times more powerful than the Nspire. and >9000 times more programmable. In other words this is the perfect calculator for that price range

*ruler starts to drool while thinking of what it could do

I will probably end up doing that. Norton is a stupid thing sometimes.
Depending on what C++ functions you used that can cause it. I found out that system( is considered a virus by Norton. That is why it had blocked my programs a while back

Norton told me you are trying to infect my computer. It hates all good programs. It even said one of my programs was a virus once

I didn't know it was possible to mistreat Nethams. Wouldn't they just come for you?

FBI or Homeland Security will probably come asking questions next. At least thats who always asks me questions.
