I'll start with the Code::Blocks one. It will take me a while though. I have to learn how to do that and how to write plugins for Code::Blocks. I will try and publish some starter source code on Monday. If anyone knows much about setting up cooperative editing or writing plugins for Code:Blocks I'd much appreciate your help

Computer Projects and Ideas / Cooperative Editing Plugin for Code::Blocks
« on: January 26, 2012, 12:22:34 pm »
Me and Homer-16 were working on a chat program of his. As we were working we both commented on how useful it would be to have a real-timecooperative editing plugin for Code::Blocks. I told him I would start this thread for working on the plugin. If anyone has any ideas or wants to help please post here. I have no experience with writing Code::Blocks plugins so I will have to figure out how to do that. The only thing I'd really like for this would to have it be cross platform so I and anyone else could use it on Windows/Linux/Mac/etc.

I am running Windows 7 Home Premuim 64 bit

When trying to compile any program with mingw's gcc or g++ I get these errors

I installed mingw with Code::Blocks with this installer codeblocks-10.05mingw-setup.exe
I have also tried using mingw64 which works fine till I try to run the compiled program. AT which point it says it is missing a library called libgcc_s_sjilj-1.dll

Does anyone know how I can get gcc working so I can compile my programs on windows?

EDIT: I got mingw64 working by adding the lib folder to the path

gamers usually prefer desktops because they can have a lot more power but laptops can be useful

Also AvaDirect has some really nice laptops for that price range

News / Re: SOPA/PIPA blackout
« on: January 21, 2012, 12:12:07 am »
That said, I think the SOPA/PIPA stuff were running for like 4 years, right? 4 years ago, I remember forum topics and Youtube videos about potential Internet censorship attempt by US government. I forgot what was the exact name of it, though, but this has been a threat for over 4 years now.
Most of the older censorship concerns were over tiered internet which is different. It is giving sites the opportunity to pay to be at full speed or stay at a lower speed
