Sure they can. They can just revise the hardware. A little expensive, perhaps, but doable. Then all future students will be stuck with the changes.
Do you really think they'd mod the hardware to lock us out? That would suck and be pretty expensive for TI

Wow this is perfect. Screw TI we now have complete control over your calculators. YOu can't lock us out now no matter how hard you try

I stumbled upon this article today: http://www.theatlantic.com/magazine/archive/2010/06/the-enemy-within/8098 and was scared to death by it. Has anyone else heard of this worm? What do you guys think about it? All my information comes from this article so I might not see everything, but heres what I see it as. This is a worm released to take over a large number of computers for some as yet unknown nefarious purpose. This purpose could be almost anything possible. From Taking down the US governments computers to spamming the entire world. It is almost impossible to stop and is extremely resilient and are to protect from. IT can easily sneak into your computer through any outside interface. IT appears to only affect Windows though. I am so glad I have linux now

Quick question: how many slots are currently available?
My guess is that it depends what they decide is needed. I doubt it is a set number

Yeah I plan to open computer spots in the future, noticing the large amount of interest for computer stuff compared to a few years ago.
A few years ago, despite fighting to attract computer programmers around, when people moved from calc to computer programming, they would still stop posting here, while today, we got people like HOMER, Netham45, Eeems or ruler501 who hardly code for calcs anymore, yet still are active.
On a side note Deep Thought sent an application
I never was very good at calc's but I'm alright at comp I think. I can't wait for you to open the comp positions

So will this be used as capital for Uber GraphX?
The plan is to use the profits from selling assembled versions of this graphing calculator to finance further development of the UberGraphX (Cortex A8 variant).
Thats what he said
