Ndless / Re: Ndless 2.0 for TI-Nspire Clickpad/Touchpad

Yes it works now :)

And I think calc84maniac means the middle of the touchpad which can be "pressed down" like a normal button.

nice that the touchpad is now included, but sadly I get an erro when trying to build this version :(  :banghead:

Code: [Select]
make all in arm...
make[1]: Entering directory /d/Nspire/Ndless/arm
nspire-as -Os -nostdlib -Wall -Wno-strict-aliasing -D OS_VERSION_INT=17 -c bootstrapper.S

...lots of similar errors

Anyone an idea where to search for the source of this... ?

uhm there seems to be a bug in the current version
after I exit ntris my calc responds extremely slow to keys etc. (he behaves quasi like underclockt)
if you take the time to renter ntris or any other ndless program this effect seems to be gone, until you go back to normal "OS-mode"
other than reset I fund no way to fix it.

If you need some more information just say what exactly you need to know please.
btw. I'm using a Touchpad CAS with OS 2.1

Welcome on the forums, by the way. Also I don't think you need to turn on extensions, since adding one will add it, just not show it, but I recommend enabling them anyway because it's much easier to work that way.
Sorry to prove you wrong Dj, but if you would add an extension without them being "seen" you would end up having a *.tns.gb | *.tns.gbc or even something like *.gb.tns.gb etc.

you have to change the .gb | .gbc extension in .gb.tns |.gbc.tns
you may have to change your Windows settings to display extensions, to be able to do so.

Did you try it just one time each?

There is also a harddisk shown at the upperright corner.
if it looks like the attached pic then it has nothing to do with ndless.
else could you give us a more precise instruction?

"The OS is signed with a 1024-bit key"

In the middle of the .tno fiel code is a key? Sorry I understand what it does, just not what it is.

I think the RSA key is explained pretty well here

a) don't double post please, use the edit button
b) ndless is OS version specific, so check if the number at the end of the ndless-file-name corresponds to your current OS
- press 5 then 4 at the homescreen to display your current -OS version
c) make sure that ndless_installer_os##.tns and ndless_resources.tns are in the same folder (and not in the MyLib folder!)

Hope this helps

Miscellaneous / Re: Education Systems

Luxembourgish system is like:
two years Spillschool (play-school)
then starting at six years age six years of primary school
then you have to choose between lycée classique(7 years) or lycée technique a bit shorter or modulaire(thats the lowest "difficulty" )
then if you did classique or a "higher" technique you may go to university

Myself I do go to the European School which goes like this
précoss
from the age of six five years primary
then seven years secondary
the university if on wishes to go

I currently need more development workforce than testing. How about implementing the Touchpad keypad protocol from Goplat's spec? :)
I may give that a try tomorrow...(and probably fail epic at it :p)
but this line I can contribute now:
#define KEY_NSPIRE_FRAC      KEYTPAD_(_KEY_DUMMY_ROW, _KEY_DUMMY_COL, 0x1A, 0x100)
that key is still missing in common.h, even though I doubt that somebody will use this one in near future

From the specifications:

Features a dedicated programming environment as well as programming libraries for global access to user-defined functions & programs
Very interesting.
Before I believe that this is not simply Basic, I have to see it...
But lets hope my foresight there is wrong^^
