but is there a way to make a text parser in pure basic so if you something it evaluates the words separatly?
I think something like
Code: [Select]
:"DOTHIS TOTHIS"→Str1
:inString(" ",Str1→A
:sub(Str1,1,A→Str2
:sub(Str1,A+1,len(Str1)-A→Str3
should work.  It puts "DOTHIS" in Str2 and "TOTHIS" in Str3.

Kind've scared to resend it with all the trouble I had; I deleted everything then.
Were any pictures archived?  Just recently I found out archiving pics 3-6 made my calculator clear RAM (actually, is prgmCOPYPIC in the demo?  I've forgotten when I started using it).

I mean REALLY slow. Here's the app if you want to look at it yourself: www. link.to/illegal_stuff/against_omnimaga_rules.thx
That... is an awesome way to cut out a link.

Well, first, it said ERR:Invalid and I said Goto.  It went to one of the subprogram executions.  I said Okay, that's weird because the program was there on the list and all.  I tried it again a couple of times, then got pissed and tried to delete it from my calculator and when it did it ended up clearing the ram too.  Bad things.
I'm sorry to hear that.  Which program did it take you to?  (Nobody has mentioned anything like this yet so I'm clueless  :-[)

Umm... I tried the demo.  Bad things happened.
Could you be a bit more specific please?

I'm pretty lazy, so I like when you only have to press a couple buttons instead of type something out :P

-New Poll!!-
You probably should have just created a new topic for the new poll.  Now there's no record of the previous results :(

Yes

but on a serious note, I assume no one objects to the fact the game currently only allows one save file instead of 3 from Illusiat 6 through 11 and 2 in Illusiat 12 and each remakes included in Illusiat 2004?
I'm fine with it (since I can just make an extra copy of whatever data is used for save games ;) )

It looks nice :)  What would happen if the players position in the new screen/room (at the very edge) was an un-walkable tile?

They can be good, but it really depends on the author.  Many games nowadays (I'm not just talking about calculator games) have nothing except incredible graphics; good story lines and game play have gone out the window.  Obviously, with text-based games there's no way game play will be sacrificed for graphics.
