Ash: Phoenix / Re: [Ash:Phoenix]What happens when you die« on: November 02, 2010, 03:13:21 pm »
Nah, it won't be all luck based. Luck plays a small factor that affects everything; ie, your attacks might be a little more powerful, the money gained at the end of a battle increased somewhat, etc. Don't worry about the battle engine, it is progressing quite nicely (will post an update maybe tomorrow or Friday)
I know some people don't like the idea of losing half your money, but I think I might end up going through with that. Like Builderboy said, it's a certain balance; this is why I wasn't sure what to do yet Also remember, with this way, if you die and you don't want to lose half your money, you can just quit the game without saving, restart it, load your file, and you'll load from your last save 1503
TI Z80 / Re: The Impossible Game« on: November 02, 2010, 03:07:19 pm »By bouncies do you mean the black squares? And you are saying that if you hold 2nd indefinitely while bouncing and them, you will eventually fall off? well...try to make sure you're posting in the right topic then lol 1504

Well there will definitely be a 'save' option in the main menu (callable at any time except in battles) that will take your current file in RAM, unarchive your archived save file, overwrite it, and archive it again. Meaning that you can save and quit at any point in the game except in battles....so the saves will be user defined.

I think he's working a lot on TiBoy right now. I think DJ said that he likes to cycle between projects a lot (I haven't been around long enough to know for sure). We'll probably see a Tiboy 0.2 in a little while, and then maybe more progress here or Project M

The Axe Parser Project / Re: Bug Reports« on: November 01, 2010, 05:59:36 pm »
idk how much this would do, but I think that putting an end bracket on FFFFFFFFFF->Pic1 might help. Otherwise I can't see anything wrong with it either :x

S.A.D. (Seek and Destroy) / Re: [S.A.D.] Progress 2010« on: November 01, 2010, 05:16:59 pm »Ooooh... looks nice, Will areas that you have explored with units, but don't have any units buildings there, be black or simply obscured? (ie you can see the map but not any enemy units that may be hiding there) Wow, nice and elegant solution. I was wondering how it could be done w/o grayscale but that's an excellent alternative 1510

The AP Biology kids apparently have 2000 word labs too 1512
News / Re: Omnimaga team ExtendeD« on: November 01, 2010, 03:55:34 pm »Wow how do you manage it? Someone had like 3 a few years ago and barely even had time to eat/sleep. X.x Well, AP calc BC is med-hard, but I get all my homework (and most of my coding) done in study hall (free period) that is conveniently right after class. I got lucky and got a really easy teacher for AP language/composition AP US history demands the most work, but all it means is that I have to spend a couple hours reading the textbook every week AP spanish...the tests are hard, but so far I've been doing all right. I think AP sciences are the hardest- my friends in AP chemistry complain all the time about their 4 hour labs....I'm glad I chose honors physics instead 1513
