Well my main issue was that I wasn't sure whether "continuous" means that the function is differentiable at that point. I say that it doesn't have to be differentiable, it just has to satisfy f(c)=lim x->cf(c) In general, we say that the function f is continuous at some point c of its domain if, and only if, the following holds: The limit of f(x) as x approaches c through domain of f does exist and is equal to f(c); If the point c in the domain of f is not a limit point of the domain, then this condition is vacuously true, since x cannot approach c through values not equal c. Thus, for example, every function whose domain is the set of all integers is continuous.

welcome to omnimaga.
pokemon ftw, especially magikarp
and the peanuts and lobsters are a long standing meme, you'd have to wait for some older members to educate you more properly about that

lollllll
i remember I made a BASIC version of that back in 8th grade...when you pushed a button it gave you ERR:UNDEFINED...of course it needed an external pic variable and could be broken with ON :x

Today my calc teacher started off the class with a pop quiz, one of the questions of which has been a source of contention among my classmates and myself.... wow gotta lay off the ap english lol anyway here is the problem: f(x)={ 3-x x<1 { ax2+bx x≥1
Find the unique values of a and b such that f(x) is continuous so what i did is I used the definition of continuity: f(x) is continuous at c IF f(c)=lim x→c-f(c)=lim x→c+f(c) a(1) 2+b(1) = lim x→1-f(c)=lim x→1+f(c) a(1) 2+b(1)=3-1=a(1) 2+b(1) a+b=2 This is where I stopped. Some other people have told me that in order to find unique values, you have to make f(x) differentiable at 1 as well. I say that the question never says that that is necessary, so the correct answer is that there is no answer (or more accurately, any a and b such that a+b=2). Differentiability implies continuity, but continuity does not imply differentiability. Who's right?

Yeah, Runer's post doesn't seem to make too much sense....maybe he meant 'partial'

doesn't impartial mean nonjudgemental? Impartiality is a principle of justice holding that decisions should be based on objective criteria, rather than on the basis of bias, prejudice, ...

Also you inverted the rotating. When moving left/right it should rotate the other way around.
Wow, can't believe I missed that Thanks

I generally go by release, where 1.0 is the version I feel is a playable game
ie space dash contest release is 1.0, then the one included in topic thread is 1.1, then ticalc one is 1.2 cuberunner is up to 0.4 now; I've 'released' 4 different versions, each with significant progress. if I only fixed a bug and released it, maybe it'd only increment by 0.01
(for minor projects i increment by .1, but larger ones like axe probably need smaller magnitude)

Well space wise....I have loads of it. I could just add rotated sprites. The game isn't even over 3kb yet Rotating the 8x8 might be an issue though...hmmm

Love the graphics! If you have time, maybe you could add a tilted square sprite (in both directions) that is displayed instead when the cam's rotated. Not needed, though, because it looks pretty awesome already
you read my mind....look for that in the next version

ACT's are more popular in the West, while SAT's are more popular in the east. Most schools don't really care which one you take. Vocab is important for reading comprehension; I believe that there are vocab flash card stacks and apps for calc Math shouldn't be an issue, I don't think for any of us Writing, I heard you need to keep it fairly simple. Clarity and evidence/examples to back up your points is key. Stay on topic and make sure you're answering the question.

I might change it later back to 3 color gray, but right now it's still 4 shade (although I don't use the light shade anywhere in v0.4) The gray is still pretty flickery v0.4New features: cam rotation and a new tunnel around 2000 Other changes: some bugfixes with the scripted runs. Pause line was taken out (for dev purposes, but never re-added. I don't think it was super necessary though) Yeah, you are able to cheat a little and get out of the scripted runs. This is because I was lazy when punching in coordinates-I can make it tighter in the next version.
