O.O
*drools

I especially like the appvar method of playing; makes my program list way less cluttered

Unaligned sprites i think would be nice as long as they use a different command so then ppl who need to draw stuff offscreen don't get messed up w/ it.

Looks mad nice

The signed multiplication is performed using the high byte as the integer part and the low byte as the decimal part returning a number in the same format.

I don't do too much lower level programming, so from what I know this sounds like decimal-multiplication. Which would be extremely useful. My question is, which byte is the high byte? The first one?

I know I'm gone now (actually I leave in 5 minutes), but after playing this I was wondering if pressing [clear] during the game could take you to the main menu instead of quitting the game?  Thanks!
lmao that's like a major OCD thing with me i just can't deal with those games that don't return to the title screen on quit, especially ones like these that you usually attempt it over...and over...and over again. Not to say this game isn't good (IT'S F*CKING AMAZING)
I saw the gif in your avatar, penguin, and I was constantly searching for the thread. i had seen the "impossible game" thread being posted to int he "recent posts list" and always assumed it was something about...well...you know....*evil smile*

I also second (or third, didn't count) external level support.

Woops, sourcecoder locked it.

Circles look nice; will probably help me in my contest entry...heh heh

and I don't think it's much of an issue; if people are testing their programs and they see this, they'll probably go back into their source and realize that they used a bad radii value :P

That looks pretty cool

Anyway, here's another Unknown Err bug; it gives me a hex error. I press prgm, then it rages at me :x

Source is N (1), if anyone can get it to work, it's the first few minutes of MJ's Thriller in Quigi's music player (except i deleted the sprite and stuff to save space - press any key to start playing) :P

ASM / Re: 64bit windows
« on: July 07, 2010, 07:54:18 pm »
All my problems fixed now :D
Ben Ryves' Brass assembler coupled with Wabbitsign replaces TASM and DevPac8x (I didn't feel like installing Python just for binpac, sorry kerm :P)

and idk what problems i had before, but i gave rom8x another try and it worked fine.

New question; is there a way to record the sound output in Wabbit? And can .gif's be converted to a movie file, like avi or wmv for use outside of posting on the internetz?

Right; wabbitsign
It appears to work (at least when useing Kerm's midi converter :P)

Speaking of wabbitemu, I'm having an issue getting the ROM off my calc
I'm using RomDump8x, and it tells me it can't recognize my calc. Is this possibly because I'm using a random usb-mini usb cable?

Regarding the guitar chord stuff, technically it only plays one note at a time, but each string continues to sound while the next one is being plucked. So the notes sort of are sounding at the same time

Could I just use wabbit to replace devpac8x?

ASM / 64bit windows

In short

I tried starting asm programming

64bit win7 doesn't support TASM/devpac8x

Does anyone know of any good assemblers that are compatible w/ 64bit win (or x64 version of devpac8x)

Thanks in advance :x

ZOMG YES!
I do believe this is the first midi player for 83+/84+ series that is usable (ie, low music file sizes)
