ohhh i found the problem, the readme says:
"TouchPad TI-Nspires can be downgraded to OS 1.x with the help of Nleash and a non-CAS ClickPad. Nleash must be run for every OS 2.0 to 1.x downgrade on these models." I don't have a clickpad, and i bought mine used, so i couldnt get the free one. anyone know the cheapest way to get one? 4

Ok, well i installed 2.1 and it works fine. so i put the Nleash in and started it up, everything went the way the readme said it would, so then i installed the 1.1, and its doing the infinite startup again. i think i might just have a bad copy of 1.1. could anyone email me it?

Please follow the procedure described in the troubleshooting section of the documentation.yeah i red the readme, and it says "If the TI-Nspire becomes unusable: * Enter the maintenance menu by rebooting it while holding the keys ON+Home+Enter+P until half the progress bar. To reboot the TI-Nspire, unplug the USB cable, then remove and put back a battery. * Select '2' to uninstall the current OS. Reinstall it when asked to." arent on and home the same button? i cant get that to work. oh and earlier i tried to install 1.1 without Nleash and failed, if thats relevant. 7
