QuoteBegin-Fallen Ghost+27 Feb, 2007, 3:1--> QUOTE (Fallen Ghost @ 27 Feb, 2007, 3:10) | The next paragraph is only my thoughts, I cannot speak for others.
A not-too heavy GUI, exactly the contrary of what Kerm did for DCS 6 RC 1. Just a smooth thing, like Mirage, with functionnalities, but not superfluous functionnalities like a text-writer or some strange things no-one ever uses. It doesn't need to be beautiful. It needs to be workin great and giving ASM prog's a help with routines! |
You do realize that those things are available for programmers as well, and elfprince was using them when he was making strategic conquest? I am sure once DCS is totally done, and adventurous asm programmers see what they can be used for, that it will become more popular...
If you make it shell like, make it like ion. Simple, and clean.

700 bytes, or 700,000 bytes? o.o I think you might have made a typo...

Try getting TilEm from ticalc.org, though you will need the GTK package to run it. I have been using it, seems to be pretty good, and I do not get the errors that PTI spits out. Your project is looking pretty good. I will see about setting you up with a forum later on...

It might be the end of omnimaga. If we do not get activity up, there is a chance omni will be closed down once xlibman comes back.
Leaving here is NOT going to bring back the activity. I am trying to be active, and as soon as I can get on my PC, had some updates to post, since I need filezilla to log into the omnimaga ftp.

Sounds like a good idea. You will need to make some example programs of what it can do...

The homescreen is 21x8, just 5 more columns than the 83+.

After seeing how semi-popular the 83+ version was, I decided that it was time to finish the version for the 86. Currently, I have the programs done, and the readme partially completed. I need to change the developers guide to work for the 86, and I will release the program to those of you that program basic 86 (small crowd, I know). I will try to get screenshots posted sometime soon. Edit: Screenshot posted:

I am glad that you were able to get it figured out. I am sorry that we were unable to help, but it seems our C guys have not been on omnimaga for a few days.

I am not sure, nor would I want to take the time to find out, because I try to not use Lbl and Goto. It would slow down the loop considerably everytime it ran across that Goto...

Lets see... Had mine since 2002, when I created http://groups.msn.com/tifreakware and decided that since I was a freak of nature, and loved TI calcs, that I would go by the name tifreak8x, the 8x meaning lots of different models. On IRC though, I have gotten lazy and changed it to tifreak.

You have to retrieve the files from the calculator from the RAM, not in the archive. For some reason, PTI does not like files taken from archive...

Yeah, I am wondering about that? Was the challenge too hard? I mean, come on, contest should make you think about what you need to do to accomplish a task...
