Ok, the game was beat, and I still haven't a clue on what to do about the enemy magic not working. <_<dry.gif All I have to do is re-zip the file, and send it to ticalc and calcgames...

It recommends that you be fairly efficient at BASIC before attempting it... You could try and see what kind of results you get...

No, the only problem is the fact that it won't use any other magic (which can be a blessing)

Since it isn't imperative that the enemy use the other magic yet, I will release it once I complete the game...

Also, I have the 83 and 83+ versions loaded on their respective calcs, to begin the process of heavy optimizing. :)smile.gif Then comes the fun part of rewriting the readmes...

And I know a long string isn't evil. That is what I use for a lot of stuff in my games now...

And I wasn't really dispairing, I just wasn't really sure how to procede with this problem...

lol, the spell is based on a random algorithim, it has a minimum and maximum it can do...

Anyways, I defeated the boss in the third tower, found a few more bugs, and am now trekking back to the portal to go kill the King.

There is one unresolved bug now. For some reason, the only magic the enemy uses is cure, but nothing else... I am going to release the game after I kill the King, then see if I can fix it...

Ok, I am currently halfway through tower 3, and getting my butt kicked. :(sad.gif I might have to see about increasing some stats or something during level up... I have already decided to raise the minimum amount that spells can do, because I keep getting 20 damage out of the most powerful spell... <_<dry.gif

There are a group of programmers making an xlib tutorial, and once complete, a copy will be hosted at TI-Freakware. :)smile.gif (At least that is what I was told, that I could...)
