From what I've seen, slower is an understatement.

With some feedback I've gotten, the following will make it into the list of weight conversions thus far:
Carat (CD) grams (g) kilograms (kg) Ounces (oz) Pounds (lb) Ton Tonne If anyone has any others that they think would be good to add to this list, please let me know and I'll see about doing so ![]() 185

Well, the only thing I'll need to deal with is text placement, and the text colors. It shouldn't take me long once I get the calc to make the edits and have it ready, or at least that's what I'm hoping. I should have the rest of the calcs done with in the next week or two.

The 68ks have quite a list of conversions already built into the OS, so it's not really imperative that I make it available for them. Unless they aren't all that great? I can't say I've ever really used them.

I'm sure he'd love to add that as a feature. All he'd need is an .xml file following the schema of the current xmls that have all the TI-89 tokens and their hex values, and it wouldn't be too hard.
Eventually he wants all calcs to be supported, but there are only so many hours in a day and all that. ![]() 189

Thanks for all the encouragements
![]() The pokeball code is ready to be tested, I think. I just have to create a program that allows me to manipulate the lists and such like statuses and hp points, and of course to make sure that all the needed programs are there :p Though I might cheat and have a Return in a certain part so I don't have to worry too much about that. 190

I know this isn't a game, and probably won't receive too much attention, but I thought I'd post it here just the same.
TIFC is a conversion program I wrote ages ago based on some information I had gotten for school, and I had wanted to make it easier for me to access. Well, with the coming of the 84+CSE, I thought I should get it ready to be ported. Sadly, the code is lame, and it requires 4 programs and a picvar for it to work. The amount of conversions in it is sad, and I realized the best thing to do is just start from scratch, mostly. So, I have! ![]() The above is what this program used to look like. And this is what it is going to look like across the board: ![]() I've also mocked up some images for what it might look like on the 84+CSE. KermMartian was kind enough to screenshot an empty graphscreen and the letters onto it so I could know what I was going to do: ![]() ![]() Can't wait to get my hands on this calc! ![]() As it stands right now, this is what the new version of the program is capable of doing: Length

Sorunome, I think the project is 8 years old now? Though I do keep getting distracted by life and not working on it for a couple of months at a time.

Just posting up here that I'm still chipping away at things. I know Omnimaga has focused more on the Nspire, not really sure how many people still look forward to BASIC 84+ games anymore.
Anyways, pokeball catching is nearly ready to be tested. Everything is written except for the actual catch. 193

Thanks, wait until I get the next bit of animating done for the actual capture
![]() ![]() So, I've done 2 things here: 1) I made the pokeball bounce lose height as it bounces 2) Pokeball now wiggles ![]() Thoughts? |
