How large is the code between the loop start, the getkey & values, and the End? If it is huge, you might want to delegate some of the code to subroutines... The smaller the loop, the faster the getkey response...

Options menu completed. Working on the Continue option. I also made all the text caps for the main menu, and shaved off 16 bytes in the process...
![]() ![]() Update: Made attempt at the Continue function, the asm prog that is supposed to check status of variables isn't cooperating with me. This is rather irritating, but maybe I will have some good news tommorrow... Update 2: I think I will scrap the idea of the asm program, and just have a save slot stored. All it will simply do is start you where the New game would send you after the intro... 1829
