If I get first, I'll probably buy a used Nspire (there's one for $70 on Amazon ).

^^but if someone is just voting for the popular one, what if they could only see the votes after they submit theirs so they wouldn't know which is getting the most votes?
*EDIT* I should probably add in that I don't really mind if I can't see the number of votes. I was just curious. 198
Axe / Re: Large masked sprites?« on: September 16, 2010, 08:05:45 pm »
I used XOR to do sprite masking in my axe game. I would draw on one sprite that contained black for everywhere that I wanted to be masked using OR logic (Pt-On), and I would draw a sprite over that with black for all the areas of the masked sprite I wanted white using XOR logic (Pt-Change).
EDIT: oh wait, SirCmpwn already said that 199

UPDATE!
I was able to fix the glitch that was confusing me. Here's a screenshot of the game running in a 24x16 room with a different tileset. However, while recording the gif I noticed that the text saying the score turned into the letter "a" when entering doors... I need to fix that. EDIT: wait, I think that thing with the score may be a bug in Axe (I don't know if it exists in the newest version- I used 0.4.3) 207

well, I'm sorry to say that it looks like I probably won't have a demo in time for the deadline
I'm encountering some strange glitches that I have no idea how to fix, however I will still be continuing to work on it. 208

^^ Thanks! Oh, and I forgot to mention that this is running in 6mhz mode, so speed almost definitely won't be an issue.
