I know that we don't want the language to seem game-oriented, but I think that there should be a way to draw sprites on the screen (though it obviously wouldn't be called that). Maybe a recallpic sort of thing with images of a custom size?

I always loved how campy the old show was  8). I think that Batman today takes himself a little too seriously...

camera anyone? lol jk  :P

I think that the calc should have a battery life of at least 20 hours, or if not, have a rechargable battery inside of it- preferably both.

The Axe Parser Project / Re: Bug Reports
« on: August 09, 2010, 02:32:47 pm »
I noticed two strange bugs in 0.4.2. One of them gave me an error when I included source code at the end of my program, but after putting an extra blank line of code onto the end of the program, it compiled just fine. Also- this happened to me twice- after compiling the calculator told me that I had no free ram left, though none of the OS vars were taking up nearly that much memory.

We could also have the switch be recessed into the side, so it cant turn on/off by sliding on a flat surface. Or we could do it how current graphing calculators do it: a key combination.

the problem with that is if the calc freezes.  If we do go with the rechargeable battery, (all for it! :D), we should a screw battery door, (probably a Philip's head)  That said, we should have a complete way to turn off the power without removing the battery.

sorry if i am to presumptuous.
we could have a reset button on the back

Speaking of power, will the calcs have rechargable batteries? I think that it would be really cool if the calcs would charge when plugged into the computer.

I've always wondered why TI never dropped the price on these things...

I'm liking the way this is turning out! :D
As for the bosses, maybe you could make them smaller to save space (Dodongos are small) or have scrolling in the boss rooms (though I don't know how hard it would be to implement that)
