Implemented some basic shooting+collision checking:

As it stands, different objects have different firing rates and firing 'sequences'. By firing sequence i mean xwing's shoot from 4 lasers in a pattern where-as something like a tie-fighter will only shoot from 2 lasers alternating ... if that makes sense?

Should be pretty awesome, ive checked out the GLIB project and im pretty impressed.

Just make sure that you take the limitations of the humble calculator into account when planning.

Either way a screenie is always good, i hope we get to see one soon :).

It depends on what you want to add really.

You can think about and implement some optimisations but all-in-all you dont want to get stuck on optimising only.

Well the sprites stop animating once 'sliced'. It should be possible to slice the sprite on the fly, though only if DT feels its necessary/worthwhile.

I was wondering if you had put any thought into having the sprites split at the angle in which they are sliced?

Very handy feature :).

I was wondering if you had put any thought into case sensitivity at all? Is it required? (could it be toggled?)

Looks to be a very fast and compact implementation, great work as usual Xeda :).

Iambians which supports multiple rules etc: http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/445/44578.html

And i have one also that i made in a hurry (http://www.ticalc.org/archives/files/fileinfo/397/39705.html)

Looks awesome, there are some 83+ variations as well. I believe Iambian has one on these forums somewhere.

Its running at 15MHz though, and it slows down with more objects, but still.

More like an x-wing's firing style:
