Miscellaneous / Re: Disney Wars Episode I: The End of Star Wars as we Know it?« on: October 31, 2012, 05:14:40 pm »
Star Wars Episode I was the end of Star Wars as we know it.
I look back and to see not only how lame the newer episodes are when compared to the old, but the general difference in the universe. 483

They arent the same thing but it might be possible to attempt to replicate some of the functionality. However you are right that there is plenty of opportunity for the OS to kill the interrupt anyway, so not stable indeed.
Custom ROM anyone? . 490

That being said, you could possibly make a TSR that chains with the TIOS int? Not sure on the stability of such a thing.

News / Re: Extend your TI-89 display to 240x128 (TI-92 size)« on: June 22, 2012, 12:36:33 am »
It looks older LCD drivers on older calcs like TI-82/TI-83(+) ran with T6A04/T6A04A @ 120x64 and the newer calcs like the TI-83+SE/TI-84+(SE) ran with the T6K04 which is 128x64.
Would be interesting to see if this applied. 493

ASM / Re: Enemies and objects« on: June 14, 2012, 05:10:28 am »
If you move around in your game screen-by-screen then you could possibly think about having another list that simply hold the 'index' of any onscreen objects in your list.
Apart from that you could look at some 'early exit' techniques for ignoring offscreen objects when looping through? 495
ASM / Re: Conversion from 83+ to 83« on: June 14, 2012, 04:57:46 am »
Id just include appropriate buffers in the program itself to see if the port at least runs properly. Then you can look at allocating them somewhere.
