Don't worry about ticalc.org though, they recently switched file archiving teams and the new one (one member being Calcgames admin) is pretty fast and upload stuff every day or two :)

It's about time.

I'll try out your game once I find my calc again. I kind of have to clean up my room a bit... I haven't seen my calc in over 2 months :(

Alright, this isn't official yet, but I think I might start programming a game again just to see if I can still do it. I found this game, and for some reason I am extremely addicted to it. So I started thinking it wouldn't be too hard of a game to program for the calculator. So Im gonna start this game when I get some free time, and we'll see where it goes.

To-do list:
-Find calculator
-Brush dust off of calculator
-Change battaries
-Get started

Very nice work. Looking forward to playing this. I'll set up Ti-Connect on my comp so I can test it out for you (I have an 84+ SE)

Yeah, projects can be time consuming  :o

heh i like these smilies...too bad we don't have all the ones we used to  :'(

Yeah I only found this site again because I just randomly thought about it, and wondered if something ever happened to this place, and sure enough, something has. Omnimaga is alive and well.

I don't think I'll go back to programming the clac again. I'm starting a big project with a couple other people (FPS for the XBOX360) which will take most of my programming time, and I have college things to do, like sleep, party and not study. But who knows, I might pick up my calc, dust off the keys, and see if I still know how to program the thing.

But it's good to be back. Now if we could just get some peanuts....  ;D

Im glad to see this project is still coming along. This is one reason I still keep my 84+.

Keep up the good work

It's Trevmeister66!!!

I'm glad to see Omnimaga up and running again. Been a while since I've last been on the site (before it shutdown....about a year ago? can't remember)

I just started college this semester. WOOT for partying  ;D

I don't program on the calculator much, if at all, anymore. Don't have the time. But I do still play calc games in math class  :D

I'm looking forward to seeing Omnimaga become what it once was.

PS It's good to see some recognizable names around here.

Alright, if you can figure out how you want to do the AI's "thinking", I'll figure out a way to program it. Basic sounds good to me *Trevmeister66 looks for his 89 Basic tutorial. I'll let you worry about sprites and all the good stuff. I e-mailed you (hopefully to the correct address) about specifications.

The Fire Emblem series is awsome. I wish I could help sprite, but i'm not good at spriting either. Maybe I can help program or something, if you need anyhelp. I learned a bit of 89t basic, but i don't remember much. I would gladly take time to learn TIGCC or BASIC again to help out. Just let me know if you need another programmer. Good Luck!

Both Harrierfalcon's Pegz and nitacku's Bowling were BasicBuilder apps that used xLIB for pictures and graphics and such. I don't know exactly how they did it, but they had some loop that called the picture from BasicBuilder (I have no idea how to do that), displayed it on the screen, and used xLIB to store it to a normal picture file. They would do that the first time the user ran the App, and never needed to again because the pictures were saved in the memory (unless the user deleted them for whatever reason.)

Eh maybe it won't be, I guess we'll find out. It's just that there are so many different abilities, some which are completely unique to one single card. But if you're only doing a limited number of cards, then you're probably right, it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

Hmm the only problem i see with this is all the possible abilites that monsters have.. It would be very time consuming and memory hogging to allow for all the abilities. I think you should just not have the abilities, and stick with att/def(or hp, whatever it is).

Woot MTG ftw. I love MTG, although i haven't played in quite a while. I still have all my cards from the early 2000's. I am really looking forward to this, and would gladly help in any way possible.
