TI 68K / WW2 strategy game

It might be like that, or (if any of you have player Battle Field 1942 you'll know what i'm talking about) I might make it a 'campaign' thingy where you choose from the beginning which alliance to be (Axis or Allies). Then you will chronologicly go through all the battles from WW2 (that i add in  ;)wink.gif, which hopefully will at least be all the major ones). (this is my added idea)~~ How well you do in the previous battle will determine how many reinforcements you recieve for the next battle.

hmm... i'm just rambling on, i need to right down everything i want in it and start to do some research.   <_<dry.gif

It is also, I swear, the game with the most "real(5" in the world!

lol, sort of, but (1) i plan on making mine true to the battles of WW2 (meaning, in skirmish mode, you can choose to fight any of the battles from WW2 and be any country that was in that battle). (2) i don't know for sure, since i don't think he ever released a demo, but i think my "battle engine" will be a little different. and (3) hmm... well i guess the rest is the same, except i'm going to try and make this as true as i can (for a calc game at least) to the actual battles of WW2.
Which map and which country you choose will determine the amounts of soldiers/tanks/artillery/money/resources/etc. that you will be able to use.

hmm, i've never used pic255, but you could use xLIB (if you didn't know that already). It has easy storing and recalling.

TI 68K / WW2 strategy game
« on: February 06, 2007, 05:15:00 pm »
I just recently learned a bit about 89 basic, and after that i thought about making a WW2 strategy game (i guess you would call it RTS?). It would kind of be like Advanced Wars for the gameboy (if you don't know what that is, look it up  ;)wink.gif ) I was just wondering if people would download (just to see if it would be worth my time). If you want anymore details, just post.

TI-BASIC / storepic in xlib
« on: February 06, 2007, 04:37:00 pm »
hmm, you could just store the pic into normal ti-pic (Pic-Pic9), and then recall it using real(2,Pic#,etc.etc.etc.
That's how i use it.
