o, ok, i understand resource now :)smile.gif

Hmm...I think you should do the insides of the houses. Sounds like it would be a huge addition, and you will be able to give us a animated screen shot of all the action ;)wink.gif. Keep up the great work.

wait are you making this game in ASM or basic?

becaues those are in GS, and basic doesn't really support GS (even with xLIB).

Question about your asm lib "Resource" (i don't know if it's really yours, but oh well).

Does it archive and unarchive really fast? because i had used codex, and it wasn't fast enough (you could tell when it was arching and unarching). If it's decently fast, i might have to use it.

All in all, if you didn't want to read that poorly worded question:

Is Resource fast?

hmm, now that you mention it... <_<dry.gif

lol sorry, like i said before, terrible at sprites. You could try at maxcoderz or UTI. There are more pixal artists there than here (from what i've observed).

EDIT: you could also download Draw'n Map at Ticalc.org or here. It has some pretty good map editing abilities, not really a charactor sprite program though.

How are you working on this? Like have you planned everything out and working in order, or do you just work on whatever you feel like working on at the time?

The only reason i even began programming as a whole, was when i was reading (yes i know, i'm a loser  ;)wink.gif ) my algebra book last year and they had a program that did...something... I coppied it to my calc and haven't stopped programming since then.  :)smile.gif

TI Z80 / A-RACE
« on: January 30, 2007, 05:33:00 am »
mmm... Thanks for your input.   :)smile.gif. The thing about the random maps is it saves memory (i guess it doesn't matter much since it's only like 2K bytes or something). In the next version, i'm going to "upgrade" the career mode where you will be able to race in "tournaments" against the AI (not at same time though). I haven't completely figured out how that will work and am working on it right now. Any suggestions about it would greatly be appreciated.
