Minecraft Discussion / Re: Minecraft

Anybody have any reccomendations for 1.2.3 mods that I should get?

Optifine and Rei's minimap, along with the Water Shader mod if your computer can handle it. That's the true Minecraft experience.
Then maybe the GLSL shaders as well(these add stuff like better shadows, waving wheat, etc.)

two recommendations: buildcraft has updated by now, and computercraft's pretty cool as well ;)

As you can see, I have a preference towards 'industrial'/'modern' mods...

EDIT: disregard the contents of this post. I ninja'd aetios, and then misinterpreted his post as talking about mine :P

on OS 2.53 and above, there are a few useful functions(such as abs()) in the [ALPHA] + [F1-F4] menu.

It's also a zero-gravity mode, if you go to the training room and press F3 you'll see it.

ah, ok... thanks!

and in the readme: if you have any death threats, love letters, etc. O.O

Sorry, for necroposting. But this is pretty legal I think.

HAPPY PI DAY!
but we already had 2 topics not on the old boards... why necropost the oldest one?

happy pi day, though :D
even though it's technically written as 14.3 instead of 3.14 here :P

and they called you sadistic >:D

but anyway, I tested this out, and it's pretty great, but I have a question...
The readme mentions a 'gun mode', but I haven't been able to find that anywhere.

Art / Re: Need some level pictures
« on: March 13, 2012, 11:19:47 am »
Ummm....
Well, size-wise, it takes up around 9.7 kilobytes for the big level, since it has to have 3 pictures for 4-lvl grayscale. The other two solid and kill pictures take up around 3.2 kilobytes (I'm talking about a 200x128 pixel level).

methinks that 200*128 should be about right for level sizes... not too big and not too small ;)

and I'll get to work on another level as soon as I have the time.

Grammer / Re: Grammer 2-The APP
« on: March 12, 2012, 04:05:07 pm »
I just ran this code and it took 8 seconds to pixel test 10 000 times:
Code: [Select]
0→X→Y
For(A,0,9999
pxl-Test(X,Y
End
Stop
That was in 6MHz, too :D
therefore about 5 seconds to check the entire contents of the screen(not as if that's actually needed)
