no, then you would have to factor the signing keys  D:
he used Goplat's Emu and ran the ARM ASM program without an OS, Its kinda like running stuff without shells, and the OS acting as a "Shell".

actually, you don't need to unlock the calc if the calc has no OS, which is how I believe calc84 coded his gbc4nspire before Ndless came out.  ;)

maybe have the people who want to nominate someone PM somebody who will promise not to reveal who nominated who and will not be offended himself and sabotage the list?  :P

wow... thats a lot of categories...  :o
but yeah, these seem like a good idea.  ;)
although maybe not the best program of the year, as the POTY already does that.  also, for the best programmer, how about people nominate others, and the ones nominated get put on a poll?  just as long as such a thing won't cause hard feelings/grudges.  ;)

Humour and Jokes / Re: If TI Made a PC OS...
« on: November 26, 2010, 03:53:51 pm »
15- It would be epic fail
16- The OS must have bugs
17- It would have stupid C code and even weirder hand written x86 assembly
18- would not support multitasking on old CPUs without threads or multiple cores, more than 8-bit sound or colour graphics

25) It wouldn't even natively support color. You'd have to write programs to make it display colors.

130: The only way to get colors would be if you fried the LCD.
132.  or pressed the screen really hard

even if you dont press really hard, you get rainbow colors :)

BTW, nice dcs signature I have, eh?
(everyone's gonna steal it without adding me to the credits)

hmm... is this better?  :P

TI Z80 / Re: Common Ion Table
« on: November 26, 2010, 03:51:18 pm »
technically, you could make one with an algorithm instead of brute datat.  ;)

 something like this:
Code: [Select]
:ClrHome
:Input "Group Number", N
:iPart(N->N
:If N>=3 and N<=12
:Then
:Input "Number of Valence e-",V
:Disp V
:Else
:N-2N(N!=1 and N!=2)

yeah, I think thats about it.  ;)
