I'm not an expert with Axe, and I haven't tried the external variables thing, but I believe the difference between the first two are storing a value to a location and storing a location to a pointer. (Am I right?) the first one stores the value to the pointer, while the second one puts the pointer at the location 5 on RAM. And don't worry about asking questions you think may be stupid, because we are all here to help. If I'm wrong about this, will someone please correct me? I find myself having trouble with pointers as well, this may or may not be why.

reminds me of the iPod Touch interface, but with the bottom row on top. Nice Job. btw, did you get the folder sprite off of DoorsCS? EDIT: And if I may make a suggestion, will there be an option to turn on without the castle first? Because for quick calculations and stuff, I prefer how the calculator turns on at the math screen. Or you could have it turn on on where it left off, like the Casio Calcs. Just some ideas, you don't have to use them.

Well, you have a lot of beta testers already, but if you need me... I'm available. btw, I can test on real hardware, but only on my TI-84+ BE, it doesn't have any projects on it. but how would we test the OT version? Do we have to build a calc? I'm no great shakes at hardware.
