Which version of Axe are you using?
also, for help, it is probably better to ask in the Axe forum. 888

Site Feedback and Questions / Re: Nearly 900 members... but have many of them even contributed?« on: March 16, 2011, 04:28:21 pm »After the dramatic events of the past few days, I went to the member list page (Misc -> Member List). And kind of analysed it by sorting it in several ways. I was surprised when i scrolled alphabetically that there were many users with 0 posts. So I pressed sort and what came up was at least 440 members had never posted! (it was all 0s until page 5, then 1s and 2s). This might be ok, but if you consider the trolling events going on and half of our members not even posting (600 had 5 or less posts), kind of questions the quality of our members (may registered this year and 2nd half of last year). Do they program? Do they know about calcs? And for the ones that do post (and are fairly new members), are they posting the stuff that we have seen over the past few months? Agreed, I doubt the one post users have anything to do with it, they probably joined because of increasing popularity. We should just ban trolls and ignore them other wise. 892

If you look around the old portions of this forum, you'll notice a user named allynfolksjr Thats Nikky, he's pretty much a troll who doesn't like Omni.

I didn't mean removing the current channels, I just thought maybe have another channel. Although that may be too many channels.
The two sites don't have to merge, I was just thinking from time to time, they should do something to together. And if its a contest, promote that if anyone wins, its not a victory for the site, but for the community as a whole in an effort to bring it closer together. 898
News / Re: Massive Restructure to IRC« on: March 16, 2011, 11:04:58 am »At the time I think that the channel is still unreachable, but when restrictions are dropped, you can access it by connecting to a EFnet server through either a online or downloaded client such as mIRC or XChat and then joining the channel #omnimaga with the /join command. I meant now. The logs show that Su-Chan is in there ATM, so I think you can get in, I just don't know if thats true. 899

We need some unity. We should try to have closer ties between Omnimaga and Cemetech. While heartless trolls we can ignore, it's really people you know and like bashing you that ends up doing more damage. And less inter-community fighting isn't the only benefit, if every major TI site worked together, there would be more communication and end products. What's the point of the two biggest TI sites feeling competitive every time something happens? I'm not pointing fingers at anybody; in fact, most people don't feel as if they must out do the other side, but I still believe that Omnimaga and Cemetech should work together on more things, or maybe have a joint contest/IRC channel/etc. This would promote less inter-commmunity fighting, and may resolve current issues and prevent them from happening again.
I hope I didn't insult anyone by this, but does anyone else agree? 900

I like anti-riot squad and up to vote, but then again, if someone were devoiced for no apparent reason, it would obviously be a troll and we could just voice him again.
speaking of which, how exactly do we get in #omnimaga? |
