I have a samsung Impression which is a feature phone which means that it has a large touchscreen, slide out keyboard, camera, browser, and the rest of that cell phone stuff but lacks main smartphone features such as a powerful OS and apps. I also don't have a data plan either so some features I can't use. The OS is quite buggy mainly when it comes to texting so several times a day I have to restart it but this is also caused by the excessive amount of texting I do each day. Luckily my contract expires in October and I'll be going with the iPhone 5

There is always Casiocalc.org, but the last time they were totally against calculator gaming
pro
against calc gaming? Why?
They consider it immature and unproductive. Groups like those tend to focus more on math based projects

Here is the manual that I've found for the r61509. it is quite complex but a lot of the information does not pertain to the Prizm so we can narrow it down. Hopefully we can get write our own simple driver soon and then we can start working on a high speed one to replace the normal syscalls.

It is doable but not right now with our current technology. Although cpu speeds are increasing exponentially each year, the speed of memory is progressing at a much slower rate. Knowing the memory demands of software like this the bottleneck would be in cache misses and even more likely missing the ram itself and having to load data from the hard disk which is eons slower than the cpu. I'm betting that this technology will be in use with the film industry within the next 10 years and that have the game industry in an additional 5 to 10 years. And when it comes to difficulties such as animation, techniques are available but they don't have the perfect detail seen in the rendering engine.

Ah ok I see. I think it would be nice to continue posting Prizm advancement news on our front page, though. I noticed things have been slower on that point since my retirement. It would be nice to have news there too, though.
I hope the petition gets signed a lot. I kinda wish it was not just for American schools, though.
I think the reason the petition is US only is because it is hosted by the American Casio division. And a lot of the stuff I put on that page will actually come from omni whether I or someone else posted it. In the latter case I always make sure I credit the original poster

I take taekwondo too. I'm now at the second degree level. And since this thread got reinstated I've set a new personal record for the mile. On my last track race of the year at league prelims I ran a 4:59 shattering the 5 minute barrier

The Prizm is now on Facebook!!! I created a page a few days back and it can be found hereI've been keeping the wall updated lately with important announcements regarding the Prizm. The info page still needs some work on though. Over the next few weeks I'll be expanding on it to make things more interesting. The focus will not only be on games and programs but also education and promotions as it is a general Prizm page and targeted at anyone who is interested in or uses the device. Please stop by and like the page

This is amazing that Casio would give out free custom skins. If you try to purchase the standard way without your code it will cost $30 plus s/h. Mine that I just ordered is pre made and is the US Naval Academy mascot. I'll post pics of my calc once it comes but that will probably be over a week from now considering I'm going on a trip on Thursday
