The only thing that was fun in the originals was blowing stuff up and burning stuff.
I suggest you ty to make explosions as realistic as possible, conforming to real life not the games.
I was earlier going over the possibilities of a Prizm port of powder game as Qwerty has already planned. Part of the problem is that realistic physics are doable processor wise if fixed floats are used but the ram is just too small. In order to have physics as realistic as the game powder toy which I believe is the most realistic powder game, 20 bytes of data is required for each particle. This would be a 1 byte identifier, 3 byte particle specific data field (required for longword alignment), 8 byte floating point velocity vector (x float and y float), 4 byte temperature float, and 4 byte pressure float. If the entire screen is used about 1.65 Mb of ram is required just for data while the Prizm's heap is only 128 kb. In additional ram there is the backup VRAM at 165kb, the g3a stack at 512 kb but not all is available, and the OS stack also at 512 kb but I'd be very careful with that space as OS routines have the ability to eat that area up.

For those of you who are in or were in high school/university (the vast majority of us) are there any very well known or successful people who used to attend your school? Such examples of notable alumni's are actors, athletes, politicians, and CEO's. At my school our best known alumni are for their athletic achievements, they are:
*Carson Palmer: Who played on our football team, attended USC, won the Heisman Trophy (now on display in our athletic building), and is now the Cincinnati Bengals starting quarterback.
*Mark Sanchez: Not actually an alumni but played for our team in his frosh/soph years and now is the starting quarterback for the New York Jets.
*Amy Rodriguez: A member of the US Women's National Soccer Team and a 2008 Beijing Olympics gold medal winner.

Yes the "Are you Christian" thread was probably the first thread ever to not get locked due to flaming but I account that mainly to Sir getting perm banned. And with the politics thread there has been debate but so far it hasn't escalated and is a good discussion.

I know some people criticized some features, such as the rating system, so I need to know what we could do to improve Omnimaga so it would be more friendly and more drama-less. Any ideas are welcome.

I think that adding politics to the list of things to not discuss here would be a good idea, seeing all of the flaming and locking of the recent politics topic.
That was my fault to lock the politics topic a few nights ago. There were no other moderators online so I didn't have a chance to discuss whether or not it was needed. And I'm thinking that maybe a full ratings system is not needed. Our staff is usually very quick to respond to a crisis situation so negative ratings could be removed to prevent abuse and reduce drama. Positive ratings though should stay because they show how much a member has contributed to our community.

Lol, the closest thing we have is vegetarians who dress like goths.
And the only thing I have against my school's IT right now is that they use M$ IIS 6.0, instead of linux (but it's the district's fault, not the school's)
As one of my school's IT techs I make sure we keep all of our software up to date. Most computers use Windows 7, Office 2010, and Firefox. We also got this blazingly fast wifi network upgrade over the summer that provides enough bandwidth for every student to use a laptop and smartphone simultaneously

I remember those days many years ago when I'd spend hours shooting down nazis I also recently bought the expansion pack which lets you fly the experimental fighter jets. And there's also another version of IL2 called Pacific Fighters (I think that was the name) which allowed you to takeoff and land on carriers. But IL2 is still my all time favorite combat sim because of its intense realism. I can recall specific missions where I'd be dodging flak, my plane riddled with bullets, my pilot injured, smoke coming from my plane, aileron controls damaged, all while shooting down nazi jets over Stalingrad  * z80man experiences deep nostalgia

You guessed right, the GOP...
Obama tried to pass plenty of stuff, but the republicans tend to negotiate and negotiate until the proposed plan has shifted right 
But now how did the GOP block Obama prior to the 2010 elections? If you remember prior to then, liberals controlled both the house and senate with overwhelming majorities while having a democratic president. Obama and congress had nothing blocking their policy and all the opportunity to fix the economy for 2 years but instead things got worse and a result the American people decided to put the GOP back in congress. Also I'm very tired of Obama blaming all our issues on Bush and the wealthy. For once could he ever take responsibility and try to solve our issues instead of chasing opinion polls.

No abortions??? That's sick. How can a school govern you medical endeavors??? What is wrong with your school? It sounds terrible.
P.S. And yes, they were sharing a cigarette.
Okay first off I'd like you not to badmouth my school in such a way because I love that place. And yes the school very much does have a right to control abortions. Being a Catholic school morality is a fundamental part of our education and we believe that human life begins at conception. And then because we are also private, the school has the right to remove students who they believe do not mesh with the school's philosophy. And believe or not but the majority of students agree with the abortion rule strongly especially the girls.

Yeah we don't have OC Choppers here. We're the Orange County that was featured in the Real Housewives of the Orange County but I sincerely hope none of you have seen it before. btw one of the houses is only a short bike ride away from my home. We're also the home of Disneyland if anyone has been there before.

Those uniforms are pretty similar to the ones at my school. Here is a picture of a couple of students in mass uniform which we only have to wear a few times a year with the good ole bishop.

This topic is now locked until further notice due to flaming. Seriously guys isn't the whole idea of government that even though we have have different ideas we cooperate for a higher common purpose. If we're going to start bashing other political parties then the discussion will have to stop.
Edit: I'm unlocking the topic now but everyone must keep their comments civil. Please try to avoid bashing other parties, groups, and/or beliefs because otherwise this will lead to major conflicts and we don't want that. A debate about which party is better won't change anyone's opinions so we need to respect that. As long as everyone can honor these terms this topic will remain unlocked.

After hearing about everyone else's schools mine is much cleaner than I thought. It seems like some of this discussion is going off into school rules in general. My school recently added a rule that bans the use of programming software on school computers  but I bring my own laptop and have IT tech privileges which is actually higher than all other faculty  Other rules are freak dancing is prohibited at school dances but many people do it anyways including myself  For more unorthodox rules, girls are not allowed to get abortions and if they do so they will get expelled. I've never heard of anyone breaking this rule before because of how strict they are on this
