Sorry you can't compete. try to pay attention next time so you can try to win.
Sorry but that last sentence was a bit uncalled for. I have no choice but to rate the post down. We don't really like that kind of post on this forum and it will not encourage anyone to participate more, plus it's hard to keep up with 300+ posts a day.
I think Ruler was trying to apoligize that Nemo didn't have enough time left to compete. Not that he was disqualified for not knowing about this competition ahead of time. I'm not sure DJ how you interpreted it, but sometimes it is hard to tell how a comment is directed online.

Casio Calculators / Re: Getting started in Casio-Basic? You can ask here.

Couple of questions regarding basic. First off how do I take user input. Such as numbers and strings. Second is use of matricies and lists. Mostly on referencing a single index in that matrix or list. Last off is drawing with statistics functions. I tried the example code on casiocalc, but I couldn't get it to run.

GCC says hi. Seriously, I don't know why we'd consider writing a C compiler from scratch when we have a maintained open-source one already. (It also includes an assembler of course)
Okay a probaly should of thought of that earlier, but writing extensive libraires for the Prizm involving, graphics routines, linking protocols, input and output, memory management and the file system will be required to boost development.

And sorry everyone about the delayed app signer. I have a lot of work I need to do first and I will try to get that out as soon as possible.

An assembler shouldn't be too hard. It would be just like Scout's disssasmbler, but in reverse.  ;)

Oh, I forgot to mention run one *OR* the other, not both. It's redundant. But we already have a C compiler  ;)
I mean more like a community made one. Perhaps one with libraries designed around the Prizm. Axe is a must also. It would nedd to compile programs designed for the Ti-83+ though.

With all code you have to run just to get a simple program to work, Asm programing for the Prizm won't be very popular. We need to get some sort of C complier soon.

Qwerty said he already ported WFRNG to the Prizm, but I believe its not working yet because Casio hasn't given us any example OS's to mess around with yet.

Edit: ninja'd. What you lost it. I was looking forward to WFRNG on the Prizm.

Do you know if it causes your program to crash or if those instructions are just ignored.

Remember that we don't have access to the physical memory and the call's code is probably located with the rest of the OS functions in physical memory.
We don't have access to physical memory? Does the proc through an exception or something if you try to access it in a program.

I have a TI 84+ SE and a Casio Prizm. I am planning on buying a Nspire soon and maybe an 83+ so I can play some of the  games that use extra ram pages.

Oh yeah here is a screen shot of my snake game. It took me forever to get a proper screenshot of gameplay because the screen capture only updates when the calc is not busy. The download is in the other calc projects sub-forum.

But it seems like there is an OS call that does a lot of that  app iniatilazation stuff such as menu bar and run indicator. If we have the call in the code then we could look for the proper memory contents.

Wasn't the first malbolge program ever, made by a supercomputer or something like that.
