Hm I'm wondering if i should make my own topic for this instead of hijacking leafy's topic
I think they should stay together, personally, but if you don't want it to work that way, cross post links to each topic as the last post here and the first post in the other topic.
We are pleased that you made it through the final challenge. We pretended we were going to murder you. Make no further attempts to leave the testing area if you still want your cake.

But when you start walking, the portal disappears. In its place is a note. To current resident, thank you for setting me free. I'm sorry to say that you are stuck here until a new traveler comes along and opens another portal. I wish you luck. -Joe
Earlier tonight, Builderboy posted a revamped version of his old Sonic Physics engine, made with a much earlier version of Axe. This new version features smoothscrolling and everything people loved about the original. It is worth noting that this is only a proof of concept demo and no plans have been made to do anything further with this program. However, it still shows what is possible in Axe and looks really, really cool.
Wow, that looks amazing. I'd go with the gray; it looks incredible. Also, I don't think you need the particles streaming across in the background. I actually think I'd like it better without.
Thank you guys for your support of this project. As stated above, I'm going to continue this until I deem it as good as it can get. Please let me know of anything you see in this that irks you or gives you trouble.
Well, I tried, and I failed. It's too big for RAM. Instillation will look like this:
Unfortunately, there won't be a beta release for another 16-or-so hours, as I just was able to throw everything together after fighting the reading from Archive programs before finally settling on Xcopy. Because of this I haven't been able to playthrough the game a couple of times to make sure everything is working, and thus I do not feel comfortable releasing it yet. Sorry about this.
I'll do my very best to release a beta tomorrow, which will have everything in it I was planning for zContest. However, since I had to go into ROM to get this done, I'll add more stuff to Midnight after zContest.
well, that's quite obvious, because that's the correct description of hitting something that's why it should move further if it doesn't touch the nose of the plane thing
It works that way because the hit box (which is hidden in the back buffer) is rectangle for easy coding. so whenever the "bullet" hits the hitbox, it stops there.
Hey, that's awesome. It's really cool to see someone using this concept in only his second game.
