TI-Nspire / Re: Nspire Raycaster« on: April 02, 2010, 11:02:25 am »Wow. It's too bad; I think floor textures would make this engine almost perfect for everything.I had a version with floor textures a while ago, but I took them out because they were causing a dramatic slowdown (floors need to be textured pixel by pixel, so around 20,000 calculations have to be done per frame to draw them). Different heights of sprites sounds possible, though.ouch 4431

That's actually all I've done with the map.
I will have more, but I want to put actually maps in, and not demo maps. I think I could have a multi-screen map screenie up in a week and a half. 4435

As most of you know, I'm working on the storyline now. I figured I'd share the 7 crystals I think will be used in the final version: Fire Water Air Earth Hope Governance Intuition Progress is slow, but it's not at a standstill. 4436

It may be huge, but it's working well for you. I have no problems with you storing it this way.
In fact, I have a similar method that I use in Elmgon, but it uses two strings, and three lists. (The lists vary in size, and are used when something isn't default. xor lets this work. ) 4439
TI Z80 / Re: the Tale of Lost Map« on: April 01, 2010, 04:35:44 pm »wait so now the calc can crash just by linking it to the computer? Wow, that's an all-time low. How do we backup our stuff on the PC now???Unfortunately, I've heard of this happening just linking some people's calcs to the computer when the only Asm programs on them were the default Apps. Somehow, TI connect is to blame. It's too bad you got the RAM Clear. Good luck getting everything back the way it was! I really like the screenie! Great job, as always! 4440

I don't have any suggestions, but I was wondering how you choose what characters to be used as buildings from the outside. Which chars do you think look best?
Here's a way to draw some buildings: Use 'U's, 'H's, and '_'s for columns. Like this: Code: [Select] ____ How do you like this?
