Yeah, you'd want this to be in Basic.
On a side note, I made this program a while back when I wanted to have a really precise way of displaying numbers in an easy fashion. You can look at/use the code an any way you want (just if you use it please mention my name when you release the program). I also started to make a terminal style interface, so there's a couple of other commands there that don't do much. All in all, though, it's a good example of tricking the calculator into displaying more digits when it does math.

Does the Lua contest allow people to post public downloads of their entry before the deadline? Because the publishing of entries on the previous page just disqualified them if that's the case. Otherwise, if it's fine, then I guess it would be a good idea. I think there is no english/french language restriction.
Nah, there's no rule to disallow it, so I guess it's fine. I know Leafy and Sir did it for the Axe contest, and they got along alright there.  Also, these are some amazing games. Great job to all the participants.

For the record, I'm going to be gone for basically the same amount of time, only I'm leaving tomorrow. Band Camp FTW.
 Yay band camp! I was still able to log in here nights tho, last week during band camp cause mine went from 8am to 8pm
Mine was at an actual camp in which there was no internet access. It was a blast, though.
For marching band, right? Are you going to do be in like a drum corps or anything?
Yeah, just marching band. I've kicked around maybe doing DCI next year, but I'm unsure if I want the time commitment of doing that.

I learned Basic by reading through other peoples' code and through TI Basic Developer, as well as learning some things at school. From there, Axe came pretty easily. I recommend picking a few simple games in Axe and looking through their complete source code to see how certain things are accomplished and how they're all alike and going from there. Good luck!
