Can you upload them individually by chance? The group isn't working for me.

Change the extension to .8xG, and it should work.

Note: The AXE version of this logo doesn't have the animation. Does anyone know how to fix it?

Its fine, thanks for doing that. It's pretty neat.

Change the extension to .8xG, and it should work.

It still didn't ???

Well, that depends.  If the author got quite a bit of help from Omnimaga, then I would say use the logo.
However, I do agree with you.  something should be set aside just for the staff to use.

IMHO:

1) I always thought that putting the Omnimaga logo in your game to say it was made by Omnimaga should be reserved for Omnimaga admins and coders of Tomorrow, but I don't mind if regulars say something like "A game by an Omnimaga member" or "by NICKNAME, an Omnimaga member", or the URL of the site. MY concern is that many people would join the bandwaggon and we may end up with newbies releasing their newest number guessing game or quadratic solver under our name, tarnishing our image. For regular members, I think if they use the Omni logo, there should be an indication that they are not Omnimaga staff. Another issue is that the download section is reserved for staff (except the RPG section), so it would be odd that many Omni programs are missing from our downloads section.

2) If you are going to include Omnimaga logo, I think it should be made right. I like the image above, but I would prefer that either people just use regular Omnimaga or OMNIMAGA alphabetical letters or use the same logo as in The Reign Of Legends and many of my games made around 2006. Let's keep some uniformity. I'll post a string file (8xs) that contains the right characters to make the logo, later.

Do you just mean a program that has the correct symbols saving to a string? I could do that real fast if you'd like. I just still have that Rick Roller's of Tomorrow program still on my calculator and it'd be an easy edit to just have that. Just thought I'd offer :)

Yeah I mean the same symbols as in the Omnimaga logo in my sig (well, except the pi symbol, which is a bit shorter on calc than in the logo, but you get the idea). Feel free to edit it if you want.

I wonder if those special chars are useable easily in Axe, tho?

EDITED, PLEASE REFRESH IF YOU HAVEN'T SEEN MY EDIT!

@DJ Omnimaga: 1) I usually think of the logo as a flash animation logo. The animations would link to the website where you can find others.
I really doubt someone would put Omnimaga's logo on a quadratic formula solver though.
I think the opposite - someone who has made a great program would place it, and then others would come here and see the great stuff.
It's more of a "hey everyone get games and more here" type of thing. Quite frankly, no one in my school knows what Omnimaga is.

If you are really that worried, you can set up something like OmniGames.com and host selected community stuff there, while maintaining a separate divide from
this site. Maybe toss in something secret so that if a serious person does end up on that site, they would be redirected here. :)

As always, putting a logo isn't forced, just something someone feels like doing.

2) No worries - that can be easily fixed! :) But of course, it's your call on whether we should use the actual logo or just ordinary letters.

@meishe91: Yes, that would be great! :D

Ah ok. And I have no idea. I think someone made a the RRoT program in Axe but I never saw it in action, don't remember who it was. You'd probably have to ask Quigibo.

As for the program here it is. It just saves the tokens to a string (Str1 or Str2, not sure). In theory the file should work, I had to change the name because A.8xp was already uploaded somewhere already. If it doesn't work though just tell me.

Nah I think I would prefer to keep everything in one site. Maybe later I could open the archives for other people, though. Just as long as people don't make it sound like a game was made by Omnimaga staff, to not confuse people. That said, it could bring more people on the site, though, especially if the URL is included.

Also it looks like for Axe format, the logo would need a different way to display the chars :(. See screenshot below

That's weird. When he provided the individual files it worked just fine with the correct tokens.

Well it's because his files didn't use the greek tokens. The greek tokens are probably mapped differently in ASM than in BASIC.

In BASIC to access them I just used the Francais app
