This is one of the reasons I chose phpBB over any other board, the only ads on it are the ones you put on it.

yeah, actually forumer.com also have ads now. those ads arent bad but you dont get the money. the thing I like about IF and forumers is that its easy to install and you dont need to find a host and have server knowledge to have them

Meh, i have google ads on my site too, but they will probably never get me some doe.. Y'know why? You need at least 100 bucks to get money AT ALL, and after 1 month you get almost nothing anymore for your clicks. So i;m stuck at like 13 bucks...

yeah, even if I had my own ads here I doubt i would get much money for them, it works more on high traffic websites like invisionfree forums which has always over 100 users online at once. I only have a bit over 70000 hits since may 12th (altough this doesnt count people viewing board index and topic lists) only websites like ticalc.org would get a decent amount of money regulary with ads.

I like google ads though because content is related to the website content most of the time and they match the design (except the new black text)

The ads don't come with IPB They are put in by the host. IPB standalone has no ads  :)smile.gif

I think they moved to the bottom of the webpage.

Edit: Oh... wait... now they moved back to the top. I'm getting dizzy. :wacko:triso2.gif I'll be quiet now :xscotch.gif
