Board Rules Changed

Please read the updated board rules. A new rule has been added that bans profanity in signatures and avatars, as well as posts.  Also, please try to avoid using alternate spellings of profanity (ie @$$) as well as these are almost as bad as swearing itself.  Thank You.

Is '!@#$' and random symbol strings like that allowed in place of it (excluding your example where the word is still obvious)?

yes...as long as the symbols don't look like the word you are substituting

but yeah i seen some people get around the word filter by posting greek letters that look like normal letters, whjich was annoying. I know free speech should be promoted but at some place you have to use common sense. Like here on this forum if a teen browsed this site adn his parents saw the word f*** or d*** or b**** his parent may think he is visiting a porn website
