@Ztrumpet: Dutch is spoken in both Belgium and the Netherlands btw. ;) Belgium just happens to have a large French speaking population as well.

And portuguese too :)

I just can't be right, can I?
This is why I need to learn more about Europe. ;)

Thanks for all of the corrections, though.  I hope I didn't offend anyone who speaks Dutch.

Lol. I doubt you offended anyone. I'm a bit of a language nerd anyway though. I've read up a bit on these things.

Actually, if I get the support of at least 3-4 German programmers, I think I'll open a section, much like the French one.

Of course you can help, I need a German to translate the forums titles when I'll create them.

What's about a special section in Omnimaga for the German programmers?

If there'll be a german section, more german programmers will join Omnimaga.
And if more german programmers will join omnimaga, We'll need the german section.
And if more german programmers will join omnimaga, all te german omnimaga-members will be happy.
Oh, very nice theory. :D

I'm also a german programmer and yeah a german section would be very awesome, I think.

Sorry for my bad English. I'm German.

I support! :)
It seems that there has indeed been a recent increase in the number of active German users on Omnimaga. Even though I'm able to communicate in English quite well, and probably wouldn't use the forum to ask for help, there might be some other German calc programmers who aren't that good at explaining their problems in English (not like I've seen any on these forums, but there's still the possibility :P), or who may even refrain from registering due to the lack of a German forum (like I did initially, for a few months, worrying my English would be too bad ^^; ). I would certainly be glad to help other German-speakers in their native language. ;)

Spoiler For DROD8x:
Status: Pre-Alpha "ROACHIE" - Progress: 20%
[=====] Graphics: 100% (full greyscale tileset)
[==== ] Tilemapping: 80% (maps load successfully, additional tile data not implemented yet)
[=    ] Storage formats: 20% (planned: segmentable holds, composed of levels, made of up to [presumably] 8x8 rooms)
[==   ] Monsters: 40% (roaches and roach queen AI working; planned: eyes, wubbas, golems and possibly more)
[     ] Gameplay Elements: 0% (walls and floors only)
[     ] GUI: 0% (very bare in-game GUI)
[=    ] Editor: 20% (integrated basic editor)
Project is currently on hold due to lots of homework and tests.

Support. I don't know german very well, but I know a little bit. I really think it could help Omnimaga grow. As far as I know, no othe calc forums have a German speaking section.
