Cruel and unusual punishment? Dude, it's okay. It's just no more Ndless for a while and what they did is not, and never will be, illegal.
I'm not saying I like what they did, but there's nothing we can do about it. They've won. For now. We'll come back again like we always do.

I noticed that not only activity remained high this summer (proportionally to what we had since March), but traffic also increased. Now let's hope the IRC channel continues this way as well (if SpyBot46 annoys people they can do an /ignore SpyBot46 anyway, as Netham45 separated the bot from OmnomIRC for that purpose .). As for the forums one year ago was our most inactive part of the Summer. Now even thought there are people who are away, there are still posts everywhere (even projects). As example:

Day - 2009 post count - 2010 post count
August 1st - 13 - 199
August 2nd - 7 - 306
August 3rd - 11 - 313

In 3 days in Aug 2010, there's almost as much activity as there was in the entire August 2009 month.

In response to the activity remaining high for the Summer and the increased amount of active topics in a day, I've sent a new suggestion to EzPortal team for the Recent Topics EzBlock, which we use on the New Posts page. From what I remember, I was even the one who suggested the recent topic EzBlock.
