I like the mobile web interface for Omnimaga -- very nice!

I didn't knew there was one? Where is it located? O.O

I know Eeems is working on something to have the forums show fine on Ipod Touch, though.

Welcome back btw

Eeems, did you do something already? If you did, can we change the skin on the computer to see what it looks like?

Nah, Eeems is not forum admin. {AP} seems to have vanished from the forums and Simplethinker isn't that active doing admin stuff either.

I have a Samsung Blackjack II with Windows Mobile 6.1 (I know... I know... Window$ ;) ) it uses IE Mobile.

The Omnimaga mobile web interface looks great -- it is simple, non-graphical, and straight to the point. Which means it loads fast and is easy to read.

I plan on getting an iPhone next December when my 2 year contract is up. The iPhone is friggin' cool!  :)

Hmm, nope didn't add anything yet. Sounds like the site has a mobile interface for phones though. I should work on the skin though, but there isn't much I can do to it. It's pretty much set.

But yeah, the thing is: I did not even know Omnimaga even had such mobile interface at all o.o

I guess I still have a lot to discover about Simplemachines Forums

Hmm, well that's actually pretty cool. If I ever give into my urges to get a phone(I'm a cheap bastard, so although I'd like one, it just be another toy for me... not really necessary XD) I'll be able to browse Omnimaga from it! =D
*Edit* I was wondering if that's what the little cell phone icon showing in Ranman's post was for... guess that settles it... but it doesn't show up on Eeems' for some reason (I kinda assumed the Ipod touch would show as a mobile device too)?  ???

for me, a mobile is something I consider unnecessary. I mean, I am in appartment with my brother, and we both pay our $20 phone line together. Why would we ditch this phone plan to get scammed by one of the many cellphone plans avaliable for $35-60 a month over here? Add to that all hidden costs and scams. There's prepaid cards but it would still be way higher than what we currently pay at home. Plus, if I want to go on the internet, I just go in front of my computer and open Opera. If I am not home, I just wait until I get home. But again I do not have computer time restrictions at home

Yeah, I don't think SMF supports iPods as mobile devices, becase it views the full site. Also I don't see that thing...

@dj: ah, well that makes sense. Cellphone are expensive....

My biggest issue with cellphones is that 99% of existing plans are scammish. You get charged for stupid stuff that weren,t even mentionned in the contract and I heard horror stories about people getting charged like $5000 in a month after they did stuff they thought that was free or unlimited. As if the initial monthly fee wasn't high enough.

EDIT OK I did some google search for Mobile Phone SMF, and found something:

I don't really trust myself with messing with the non-obviously-simple or basic configuration stuff, and you seem to be doing a good job ;)
