can u make it so it auto updates like ever 5 minutes or give a option in profiles to allow that?

If you have firefox you can set it to refresh on certain intervals or you can just hit f5 every 5 minutes or if on the smf website you find a mod that will do that I'm sure {AP} or simplethinker would be happy to look at it.
