Good ol' kev...y'know, i worshipped this guy when i first found out who he was and what he was doing for BASIC. Today, I'm proud to say he's a great friend. Good, caring spirit. He may have his flaws, but the great minds always do. So heres to you, me ol' chum. Without him, FF:ROS wouldn't be but a distant gleam in my eyes. While its still more or less a gleam, its getting there =P I hope you don't leave us forever, Kevin...you're a great asset to the community. Everyone thinks so. You're a BASIC legend...your deeds and actions will be told in song and story for generations to come. Maybe not so dramatic, but it'll happen =P So I say thus: even after you're long gone, your spirit and influence on the community will hold. You've proved BASIC can be so much more. Take your place in the ranks, right up there with the greats, for you deserve it. Good on ya, mate =) Stick around, eh? gimme a shout on AIM or IRC

without kevin:
i wouldn't have started my rpg (let a lone be able to program)
non of us could play all the great games he made
he couldn't inspired all of us
we wouldn't know so many tricks for basic
we wouldn't have this website
we couldn't laugh at his jokes
and so much, much more
Kevin you are a legend in the world of calc programing, if not more than a legend

This was the first TI site I ever visited, and I thank Kevin for making it.

I relize that I have been kind of an ass at times to certian people.
First off, to kalan_vod. Right after Omnimaga was shut down, kalan made a comment to me about joining and being an active member of my site. When he never did, I kept bugging him on it, and eventually it did get to him. Second of all, I made a post in the post count thread here that was not the most thought out (I had said that kalan was making too many posts), and I do relize this was not the smartest move. I do appologize for these actions. Please note, around that time of the year, I always get testy for some really weird reason. I do relize this is not really an excuse, but I hope not to have it again.
Also, to xlibman, I have gotton to you it seems for not going to my site as often as I would have liked, and it did get to you also. I do relize that people need a break from places, even admins, and though I would have like to have seen more activity from you, I shouldn't have gotton on you as I have. For this, I also appologize.
To the active members of the #omnimaga channel. I do relize now that I seem power hungry when there are no ops, other than myself, or when tifreak8x, xlibman, and Tenniskid are absent. This is not how a channel op should act. For this I am going to voultaringly de-op myself everytime connect and just be a voice unless I feel I need the powers of an channel op. This will go on until I can resolve those issues. I also appologize to each and everyone of you.
Also, to anyone else I have not named, I also appologize, one for doing what I did to you, and second, for not naming you by name. To anyone mentioned, if there is anyway I could repay myself to you, please let me know, and I will attempt with all my effort as soon as possible (note to channel members, this does not apply, for I am punishing myself).
Thanks for you listening.
Rivereye.

Thank you rivereye, but I can completely understand how sometimes things get messed up. Kevin I hope you realize how much we all would miss you, and I say this again because I want you to remember it forever "You're like a brother to me, so just as brothers do say I say I love you like a brother man!"

thanks guy for your support, I really appreciate the kind words. I hope things will stay fine in the future, the actual problem is that I am kinda different from most of you guys. No one ever diagnosticed me with a mental disease or something similar but I feel I have something wrong, I am more sensitive than normal and I have very big self control problems. Unfortunately some people in the community discovered this and used this against me, and this is why I have been feeling so down in the past year, but your support helped me stick around and feel better. In the near future i know i might have some times when I feel down again, but if people help it will eventually maybe stop happening, hopefully. Basically its just that i have to deal with stuff other ppl doesn't have to deal with as much as me, and I hope you don't have to deal with this its not easy at all
anyway thanks again for the support. On a good related note on July 4th I will have been coding for calcs for 5 years ^^

Its great to see you back Kevin! You were (and still are) one of the pioneers of TI-BASIC. Without you, BASIC programmers would still be scoffed at and utils like xLIB would never be.
You are a kind and genuine person and will forever be an integral part of the TI scene.

Yea I used to envy Kevin for 2 years and I would be like I wish I could meet this guy somehow. One day I stumbled across omnimaga where all my BASIC idols hung out xlibman, CDI_, tr1p1ea, rivereye and I was like wow. Then I became friends with Kevin over the next months and found out he was not some "I'm the best basic coder" stuck up idiot but he was a geniune friend that understood what people go through. On the BASIC note I definetly think Kevin is a legend.
