I think a spammer got my email address from here, unless you guys are really bored and are playing an over elaborate prank on me.  Sent via http://omnimaga.org/index.php  if you have my email address in the database, plz delete it.  (If anyone actualy still wants it, you can always pm me :knight:knight3.gif )

oh those spambots are really ticking me off now. We alerady had enough problems with them posting spam on the forums, now they even EMAIL members... This may have been sent to the entire members list now

sry for the trouble this may have caused, unfortunately I cannot remove your email address as it would screw up your account (since an email address is needed for each members), so I just disabled the email feature for the entire member usergroup, until I get around putting members with more than 6 posts in a different group

btw, CDI and greenorange got it also and I'm surprised I didnt got it yet
More info here
http://omnimaga.org/index.php?showtopic=801

I've banned the IP and deleted the member account of this spammerbot. I'm sure none of the members would do this here

again sry :(sad.gif

Crzyrbl, the spammer does not actually have your e-mail address, he e-mailed you through the forums (indirectly). It's not Omnimaga's fault really.

basically the bot cannot get your email address, the link to the email form in your profile doesnt even show the email address so you should be safe

ah well... these bots get even rowdier...

I registered my e-mail account when I was 8 years old, so now I get approx. 8-120 spam mails per day XDsmiley.gif
Spam filters are good stuff.

/edit: I will post a topic concerning on how to avoid spam.

Thanks.  You all responded pretty quickly.  I almost never get spam, so it was a bit more of a shock than it should have been.  Either way it's fixed; no harm no foul.
