Title: The Game losing can resume?

Hmm I wonder what caused the downtime earlier? For some reasons, I believe people couldn't access the site as far as midnight of my time, because from 12 AM to 4 AM there were only 2 posts, which is possibly the lowest active night since 2008, and an unusually low user count online. Then of course at 11 AM the entire server was down. Later it said connection problems to the SMF database, but was the downtime caused by domain name/DNS issues?

Some europeans or people who stayed up late at night should confirm that Omni was up or not at 3 AM GMT-5. In any case, I hope this downtime is not linked to the vandalism attempt of Axe Wiki front page one night ago nor what happened to Juju's server in the last few days.

No, it's not related to DNS or vandalism. It appears a DB backup tried to fire off last night which filled up the drive. MySQL doesn't handle not having disk space too well, and it basically went into a stasis.

Oh I see now. And it pretty much rendered the entire server unresponsive? (Since even Netham45.org didn't work)

Anything that relied on MySQL was down including netham45.org.
