TI calc Repair SubForum
« on: January 23, 2013, 01:19:14 pm »
It is my opinion that Omnimaga should have a sub-forum dedicated to calc repair. It is so hard to troubleshoot and fix your calc with the (VERY) limited troubleshooting page on TI's website. Comment if you have seen a calc repair help site, or want to share your techniques. I mostly want to know about fixing TI-83 plus calcs.

Is your calc broken then? If something's wrong, just ask on IRC :)
I'm not a nerd but I pretend:

Well the main section for calc repair would be http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?board=6.0 :) . This is where people ask questions regarding calc repairing, linking troubleshooting, fixing general issues not related to programming, etc. Otherwise, make sure that you also check the tutorials section at http://www.omnimaga.org/index.php?action=articles;cat=15 (especially the last one, if you have a TI-83+/84+) :)

Also welcome here :)

For IRC, you can use a client like mIRC, Hexchat etc, something like mibbit or efnet.org, or just use the IRC link at the top of the page ;)

About the subforum, personally I don't see people asking for how to repair a calc too often..not sure if it's enough to warrant one :/
General Calculator Help seems like the way to go.
