umm...yeah, I deleted my avatar, and now I can't load one from my computer. Help please?

you need to upload it to an external image hosting service, either your own webhost, or else
http://www.imageshack.us
or
http://www.photobucket.com
work great. Then copy the url of the image, and then go into "My Controls -> Avatar Settings" and then paste the URL where it says to put the image url. Thats all you need to do.

I wanted to have upload disabled because Invisionfre allow 16 MB only and I want to keep it for emoticons and other files uploaded by members

Yeah. MC/RS/UTI have upload for avatars, but to host such a small image it isn't much. But 100s of them add up fast!
