Seems like a troll : an unknown IP, coming from nowhere just for marking Omni's page.

Note that there are certain people in the TI community or outside the community who hate Omni or its politics, so if they still pay attention to the site, I wouldn't be surprised if one or more of them, especially if he got banned before, took revenge by trying to take down the Wikipedia article in every way possible. After all similar stuff happened before on Archive.org and Howmuchisyourwebsite worth (in the latter case, the site was flagged as adult site).

Also, the site seems to be missing some stuff including impacts and controversies. For example, TI-Nspire hacking was often seen as a gateway for cheating (TI-Nspire Google group) and certain released tools (PTTKiller, PTTCopier and nLaunchy comes to mind, even if the latter is much safer) are seen as the reason why TI blocks Ndless. Its stricter moderation also sometimes caused controversies in the rest of the calculator community. Also, certain members on TI-Nspire Google Groups, HP Museum, gaming blogs comments and to a lesser extent TI-Planet expressed their disdain for calculator games, saying they are either useless due to more advanced mobile devices or are a nuisance in school. Of course, however, for those controversies, you would need sources, though.

Even if people hate calculator games, it's not their business and they should care more about their b*tts if they don't want them kicked.

Well, if your admin is a troll, omni probably has bigger issues~

The reason I requested that ban deserve some explanation because people are inevitably going to be put off by it. To quote Wikipedia:
Quote
The barometer of notability is whether people independent of the topic itself (or of its manufacturer, creator, author, inventor, or vendor) have actually considered the topic notable enough that they have written and published non-trivial works of their own that focus upon it – without incentive, promotion, or other influence by people connected to the topic matter.

Omni, great as it may be, does not meet the criteria for a standalone Wikipedia article. An article on the community as a whole with subsections for the major sites would be more appropriate.

Wait, /you/ requested that delete ?
Also, by googling most calculator related topics, you inevitably find Omnimaga. It's not like we are unknown.
Plus you can add to that that there have been features on Games radar which is an external and objective entity towards us. Which gives us the notoriety we need.

Here are a couple articles that random people couldn't have thought of making :
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Wii_drivechips
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wii_homebrew
Both obviously belong in the Wii article with a mention in the modchip and homebrew articles.

If there should instead be a community article as a whole, then should the Cemetech page also be merged with it?

Note that neither is an article about a specific forum for homebrew, but rather about the community as a whole. Incidentally, this is what I explicitly suggested would be more appropriate.

There used to be an article about calculator gaming, but it since got merged into the mobile gaming article.

What about calculator programming ? That's not quite like calculator gaming, only more general.

Also, believe it or not, but IkarugaX is famous (I didn't believe it). See :

Spanish articles :

http://retromaniacmagazine.blogspot.fr/2013/11/tremendo-desarrollan-una-version-de.html

I was very amused by the fact that there were so few English articles compared to other languages, though I posted the game everywhere in English, and even the Youtube video is in English (except the description that I made bilingual French/English) xD

hmmm http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cemetech
Actually, I think the only reason that could make Cemetech be Wikipedia-worthy and not Omnimaga is the fact that they have plenty of non-calc material that made Digg/Slashdot/Hackaday headlines in the past and they had panels at MakeFaire and stuff like that. The only time Omnimaga ever got mentionned on a big non-calc site or IRL is about calc-related material.

It depends of people's opinion, though. Some people see everything calc-related as irrelevant, while others find certain things about it noteworthy.
